I was getting ready to order a CDT CL-61A 6.5" component set from theZeb (operating on a very tight budget right now) when I saw on the CDT website a new model KA-61 which sells for just about the same ~$150.00 price range. Has anyone had experience with these new KAMA models? It seems to have an advantage with a 1" silk tweeter instead of the 3/4" but beyond that I'm not sure how to judge.
I'll be powering these from 2 channels of a MTX thunder684. My plan is to later add an Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.0 sub bridged on the other 2 channels.
The 61A's are great, the 62's are great. I don't know anything about the new ones you've mentioned, but if you have a $150 to spend you could also look into the Polk MMc6500 and the Infinity Kappa series.
