My buddy and I are having a debate about what would be a louder system, and I was hopeing someone could help? My friend is getting two 13.5 JL W7's, powered by two JL 1000/1's, and I'm getting three 12W7's, powered by three 500/1's. Could someone tell us which is louder, and which one could be heard from further away???
wow, that is a really close call, unfortunently noone here can give you the answer, your leaving out, if the amps will be givin the battery power they will need, what kind of boxes for each, what kind of vehicles, million factors lol. but lets say both are in IDEAL conditions in same vehicle, im giong to have to go with the 2 13.5s. reason is, they are loosing the extra sub, but they are making up for it with extra surface area and double the power on each sub, also better chance of using space more efficiently, but hey everyones got opinions, i could be dead wrong
