yea it says right on that page "725wrms@2ohm"

isnt the L7 750wrms??? it should be fine, even though i don't know why you would get a nice SQ amp and get a SPL sub, thats a very nice amp though

Yeah, well this would be my first actual good sq amp, I want to try it out, plus that amp will actually push out 1200 true watts right?

Also, what about the orion 2500D, will that be a little bit too much for an l7?

No the L7 is 2000 max, 1000 rms.

STOP USING PEAK/MAX RATINGS!!!

stick to RMS for speakers and amplifiers.. Peak means nothing

If the L7 is 1000 watts rms, you should be ok with the 1200D. You will be giving it a little too much power, but that is fine, just watch the gain.

And yes, a 2500D would be WAY too much for an L7, it would be a little too much for 2 L7's!

If you have HO alternator and plan on upgrading subs in the future, 2500D is a better choice.
Just cause a amp is 2000w rms, it doesn't mean the subs will get full power as soon as it's on. The volume control will limit that.
