hi, I just wanted an "expert" to look at this upgrade I am making to my system. 1. adding a 4 channel Audiobahn Amp to power my speakers (AudioBahn A6004T Car Audio Amplifier ) 4by150peak 2. adding a Mono channel Audiobahn Amp to power my sub (AudioBahn A8000T Car Audio Amplifier) 800watts 3. adding a Ma (MA Audio MA1000XL Car Subwoofer) 500Watts)
Couple questions 1. Is the Ma a good subwoofer for sound quality or is it loud. (if it is not good for sound quality please suggest some that are) 2. Is the Mono Amp able to handle more than 1 subwoofer at 4Ohms? 3. If you had the 500$ that this will cost, how would you do it differently? thanks from a newbie, -sam
look at jlb and mtx amplifiers and look at maybe an alpine type r subwoofer. You should be able to spend 500 and get way better stuff with those brands.
I wouldn't buy anything from audiobahn or MA audio, myself.
I'd use JBL or Kicker amplifiers, or even DEI amps like Directed, PPI, Orion, Viper, or a/d/s I'd use an alpine type R or kicker CVR 12" sub.
Thrush, interesting name.. were you aware that the term "thrush" refers to an oral bacterial infection, usually treated using nistatin wash or pills? very common in people with a reduced immune system and on antibiotics, like transplant patients.
