Have a Bose/Deloco system. Must take the wires to the sub to power the amp. What is the best way, and what equipment to use, to give the amp a nice clean signal for my sub. Any sugesstions on a sub amp. I'm considering using a 15" Mofo or RE XXX.
you need a way to get an RCA line level output from your Bfactory BOSE system. easy. look at PAC Audio. They make a device called the OEM-1 that allows you to tap into teh wiring harness behind the head unit, with a T-harness, and get up to 4 channels of RCA outputs with individual channel gain settings. very handy adapter. total cost for the OEM1, and the in and out harnesses will be about $50-60.
Glasswolf, thank you. I sent them an email and I am waiting for a reply. While I've got your ear could you answer one more thing. I'm looking toward the purchase of either 2 Mofo 12's or 1 Mofo 15. Also, Power Acoustik A3000DB. What do you think of these, how do they match up and will i need a capacitor (and what size).
I strongly dislike power acoustik.. personally I'd look to a better, more quality speaker.
Jake, wanna buy another 82 camaro? hehe it's a pro-street, tubbed, full cage, racing seats, quick release steering wheel, gutted, 350CSB, all chromed, fuel cell, street and strip gears for the rear end, etc.. electric blue paint. it's a nice car.. a close friend of mine is looking to reduce his collection. very streetable and it's licensed for strip use in street classes. it does have a locker rear though so its a bit squealy around corners..
I think he wanted like 5 or 8 grand for it out the door. He's just got it sitting in his garage right now.. he's about th rebuild the 350 for it, top and bottom end just to go through it before he sells it. I know it runs because I've driven it and gone to shows with it when he takes some of his other cars.
