New member Username: Kaveman23Post Number: 2 Registered: Jul-05 | Advice on Receiver under $300 I am new to the world of audiophile and have previously owned stereo systems and very unfamiliar with the HiFi manufactures. I mostly listen to music and would buy a receiver and a pair of speakers for now and upgrade to surround in 2 years or more. However I want to make sure that I have the right receiver and also good front speakers. I am currently looking to buy the Denon 485S for about $299 and the JBL E60. I would like to know if there are other receivers that have similar costs but have better features / value. Please advice. Thank you. -K |

You could also try out the recently released Panasonic sa-xr55 pure-digital receiver ($225 shipped from jandr.com), have read some incredible things about its predecessors. |
