Silver Member Username: Dominirica012Charlotte, North Carolina US Post Number: 188 Registered: May-05 | i would go with the Type Rs...seem like a better sub than the p2 |
New member Username: Audiobass10Cape Coral, FL United States Post Number: 2 Registered: Jul-05 | Go with the Type R's or even the Type S's. Both would be a better choice than the P2's in every aspect. |
Gold Member Username: Taylor17Kopperl, Texas Post Number: 2352 Registered: Jan-05 | I just go for spl... not sq... the Alpine is the better buy if you want sq. |
Gold Member Username: Taylor17Kopperl, Texas Post Number: 2353 Registered: Jan-05 | Lol hahaha type S's? The P2's would stomp the type S's. The type S is Alpine's bottom line sub... and not that great. |
New member Username: Audiobass10Cape Coral, FL United States Post Number: 7 Registered: Jul-05 | I don't see what's funny? The funny part is you're wrong. The Type E is Alpines bottom of the line sub for one thing. And if you're talkin SPL..find me 2 12" p2s with a better score..hell, find me 2 15" p2s that can beat the setup. http://www.thecaraudiobox.com/eventpicsandvids/ visit www.realcaraudio.com and ask speakerman about it..he'll vouch for it considering he pulled those scores. The p2s are almost a joke. |

Bronze Member Username: Audiobass10Cape Coral, FL United States Post Number: 15 Registered: Jul-05 | Give me the new Old or new Type R or S over the P2's any day. |

"Or what about Kickers are they straight???" I run a 15" Kicker CompVR in 3.5 cubes tuned to 35hz and it's loud to say the least. The CompVR's are a great buy, but the Type R's and S's seem to meter better. |
