Silver Member Username: DakulisSpokane, Washington United States Post Number: 164 Registered: May-05 | You could go for Ascend CBM-170s across the front and HTM-200 rears and pick up a HK 235 or a Denon 1905 from some place like this on eBay and you're around your $1000 price point. The system will sound better than any HT in the box. BUT, I'm a fairly newbie myself so listen and learn. (You might see if you can preview the Ascends close to home, also) or anything else recommended by others.
