After I got a new head unit installed, the audio that comes out of the left 2 speakers is terrible and sounds like they are blown. But the only time they do that is when I am playing a cd from my cd changer; when I listen to the radio or use the cd player in the head unit they work fine. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
the DIN cable from changer to head unit may be defective. take it back to where it was installed.

No, I had the CD changer before I got the new head unit; and with the last head unit, the changer played fine. Any other suggestions on what the problem might be?

Its an alpine head unit(alpine CDM-9821) and alpine changer if that helps.
