I just bought and installed an Alpine CDA-9853, but I'm having problems: Most of the time, the "Power Ind" LED shimmers, and the controls don't work.
Anyone seen this "shimmering LED" problem?

I just bought an Alpine CDA-9853 and mine is doing the exact same thing. However for me that's all its ever done. Have you figured out what the problem is yet?

i'm having the same problem. I've had the unit since the day it came out. This is my second one. I had Best Buy already swap a previous unit out which was doing the same thing. 2 weeks later with the new one, it's doing it again. My volume is stuck all the way up, I can't open the cd player, no controls... It's driving me nuts!
