I am currently trying to hook up my 37" Panasonic Tv and my Emerson VCR to my Sony receiver. The back of my tv has Red and White Audio plugs, Red Blue and Green Component Video Input plugs, and Red White and Yellow Video 1 plugs. There are also two others that are red and white and they say to audio amp. If anyone can help me out here i would greatly appreciate it.
Connect yellow (video) cable from vcr output directly to tv video input. Connnect red and white audio cables to vcr audio out and receiver input. This is only one connection option. It will help prevent overdriving tv speakers, however as vcr audio will only be heard from speakers connected to receiver.
