i am in the market for a new widescreen tv that i will be using exclusively for dvd movies.i would appreciate any reccomendations for a tv in the 50-56 inch range.thanks
I suggest if you have the depth, go for a mitsubishi mid level standard projection (non dlp,lcd). These tv's are on their way out and have a lower price. I still beleive the picture on these beats the lcd/dlp projection tv's (if they are the mid to high level mits). I have a ws55511 and the picture on it outshines sony's and hitachi's that I have seen with a non-split image fed in them. This way you can save the rest of your money for surround sound or popcorn.
