Sealing a prefab ported box

D P W Silver Member Username: Dpaw20 FL USA Post Number: 215 Registered: Mar-05	Posted on Sunday, May 15, 2005 - 21:55 GMT I got a prefab ported box tuned to 39hz and the lowest bass notes are so much weaker than the ones around the 45-50hz range (im guessing). If i sealed up the port, would it solve my problem? Also, if somone gave you a prefab ported box tuned to 39hz, would you seal it up if you HAD to use it? This will be a temporary fix until I get a new custom box.

If not, would it be possible? Could I add to slot ports in the middle and it work well? I want it to be tuned down to like 28-30 hz.
