can anyone help me connect this system to my rca vcr which is connected to my tv coaxial only

use the audio / video outputs (red/white/yellow) to the audio /video inputs on your vcr. To play a DVD, turn your vcr on, and select the "line input" mode, then switch between your tv/vcr using the appropriate button
