JohnnyStyle Unregistered guest | How would/should I wire this: 2400 Watt Peak, mono channel amp that is 1 ohm stable, and 2 subs 700 RMS/1400 Peak each, with dual voice coils. |

If they are it would look like this: http://www.jlaudio.com/tutorials/wiring/index.html#2dvcpp If they are dual 2 ohm subs your best bet would to wire the voice coils in series and the subs in parallel for a 2 ohm load like this, http://www.jlaudio.com/tutorials/wiring/index.html#2dvcsp but expect around half the power output depending on the amp. -Fishy |
JohnnyStyle Unregistered guest | Well Im still a newbie at this so Im a little confused. Are you talkin about this: Voice coil: 2.5" Dual 4 Ohms Or this: Operation: 2 Ohms or 8 Ohms |

That wouldn't be a good idea for a couple of reasons one of which being that you will reduce the power handling(and output) capabilities of each sub by half. -Fishy |
