I was in Tokyo last Oct. when this camcorder first came out. A very attractive young Japanese lady in Sony uniform demo'ed it to me. May be I was too busy watching her and taking a digital photo of her using this camcorder, I didn't remember much about it. Sad to say, I didn't buy one from her because I didn't want one with user's manuals in Japanese. It was a good price too (about $1,200USD) Now that I am in the market for one, can I hear from people who have had a chance to use this camcorder?
US Retail is $1700. I've used it a bit at my work, and like it quite a bit. It's the first convergent device I've used in quite a while that I've liked.
