i have alot of bass in my standard cab pickup now, i just need some good highs, i was thinking about some alpine type r 2ways but then looked at some rockford fosgate 2 way 6x9 with dual tweeters mounted on the cone, but i didnt really like them... and i want these to be mounted in my doors, so any help will be appriciated.
there are no good 6x9's. oval speakers are not good for SQ. get some 6.5" rounds and an adaptor plate. if you are lacking highs, get a 6.5" component set and a two channel amp for them.
