right now i have an Exide type 64-72 battery in my '97 f-150 lariat. Im gettin a 200 amp High output alt in it, and im gonna be runnin bout 1600 watts rms. Im thinkin that im gonna get a Yellow Top battery ... would that replace my Exide battery, or would i hook them up together.. or what? and also, i wouldnt need a battary capacitator would I?
just get the yellow top, never hurts to have that little extra....1600rms is a desent amount of power to run constantly...dont worry about the cap as you already have the HO alt...
