Silver Member Username: DmwileyPost Number: 340 Registered: Feb-05 | You're ok. Not unusual for digital tvs to reproduce standard signals with less than optimum picture. If you calibrate your tv using Digital Video Essentials or similar program, you will maximize picture. However, do not expect to obtain as good a picture as you would get from decent analog set, even with the "all digital" signal from Directv. I also have HD from Directv and experience picture quality drop off when watching channels other than those broadcasting in HD. However, even Directv's standard fare is better than what I get from Adelphia cable. |

I have acquired a 3100 receiver left when a tenant passed on. I want to use my Smart Card (expressvu) in it but Bell will not relent as they say there is money owing on it. SO..I have acquired a SCM scr111 Smart Card reader/programmer with installation disk. NOW...WHERE do I look for software to use the doggoned thing?
