ok guys i have actually thought this one over, and im going to sell my eclipse Ti for like 350 shipped cause its never used and still original packaging and warranty and everything, but ive decided im going to save up and get the re MT 15 inch instead, what impedence does it come in i cant remember. GUYS IM DIONG THIS CAUSE I WANT HUGE SPL. but i want to run 2 good cheap amps off of it
waht are 2 good amps to put to it to put like 2000-3000 watts rms to it, like run 2 vc to each amp, and if igot like 2 jbl 1200.1 with a 150 amp alt and a 1.2 f cap would be enough?
just grab a kicker 2500.1 or an RF 3000T or maybe 2 kx1200.1's and stap em. that should give you a lil bump.
actually, i have seen an 18" MT in a wall burped on 2 audiobahn "5000w" amps. 1 per coil....bout 160db
are you gonna compete w/ that MT? if you are gonna compete in dbdrag...i'm not totally sure but, i think you are not allowed to use quad coil sub in that org any more.
if you are going to compete w/ the sub and use 2000-3000wrms, alts arnt really gonna help you because in dbDrag you have to burp w/ the car off. you may wanna look into buildin a battery bank...or get a batcat 8400 oh...and sub, do you realize that you have made close to 450post in the last 7 days...lol
if you are selling that Ti, are you selling any amps? i am looking for an amp to use in USACi comps...0-300w class. you wouldnt happen to have an amp for sell that is rated for 300w or less @4ohm and will do bout 1200w @1ohm do ya?
how do you know how many posts ive made, but ill be diong like small competeing..i wanna hit 150 with a single sub, so a 15 or a 18? and i want to get to amps or 1 and spend less than 500 on the amp(s), but what do you suggest,,and how much is tht batcat

150 is doable w/ 1 15" MT...the 18" would give you that "WOW" effect when showin it off though, but install is everything. What kind of vehicle would this be in, and what frequency to you peak at rite now?
You may be able to get 2 kx1200.1's for bout $600. zac would be the one to talk to about getting high SPL's...he has been in comps longer than me.

RE MT 18" in a snailshell enclosure in a trunk is hitting what kind of numbers? running DVC 2 jbl 1200.1 to each coil? is it worth $900? i have $600 right now just for subs cause i have 2 brand new mrd m501's. but im in the middle of selling them. should i spend the extra money on the MT and the snailshell or just use the amps i have and get to soundsplinter RL-p15's?????decisions, decisions
i want to purchase everything at one time so im looking at 1 time so i need around 2000 dollars because i want to get the alpine 9833 also. So ill probably be getting this around new years.lol, but hopefully by then the prototype will be out and hopefully maybe they will have an amp or something. hey sub why dont you just get 2 of those ed nine amps... 1200 rms at 1 ohm... cant really beat those prices... and im searching for a good sturdy box to fill with padding and stuff to ship out the stuff... i;ll let you know when i ship it out... are you ready to ship the stuff out?
