Please help! Why is the date and time stamp lost after video transfer?

I can view the date and time when playing back on LCD, but they are lost after the video is transferred to PC. Thanks.

Because the date stamp is unique to the player and usually not transferred to another recorder.
The original intent of the time date stamp is for editing. You wouldn't want the time and date on an edited video.
