My family just recently bought a Denon 3805 reciever and it is great and sounds excellent. However when watching sources hooked up with component cables (DVD, Dish Network) and you change the volume or somethign else, nothing shows up on the screen. However playing somethign in the vcr hooked up with composite cables, and changing the volume it shows the setting on the tv. I was thinking that it is just because the composite is getting upconverted while the component is just getting passed through. However in the manual and in the review at audioholics it says that the OSD works with component sources. Am i not setting up something correctly? Thanks for your help.
