My sony dcr-trv240 works with the power adapter connected. When I disconnect the power adapter and use the battery, it doesn't work. When the battery is on the camcorder and power adapter plugged in, the battery does indicate that it is charging/fully charged. I have tested two sony infolithium batteries. Basically the camcorder doesn't work with the batteries, but it will work with the power adapter. Any ideas to what this problem may be?
