Help me pick a good sound card and video card for 6.1

monkeymann Bronze Member Username: Machman Post Number: 20 Registered: Oct-04	Posted on Friday, January 07, 2005 - 16:31 GMT I've got a Yamaha HTR-5490 6.1 DTS, ETS receiver and a SBLive 5.1 sound card on my computer with an unkown video card (but not one for gaming). I want to hook my computer up to my TV to play DVD's, MP3's, MPEG's etc. Do I need anything more than what I've got? If so, what would you recommend?

Right now the only video output from my PC is a monitor out. Can I split that and use an adapter of some sort?
