Alright, I've seen similar subjects answered at absurd length in other threads, so I hope everyone will be kind to a humble Noob here, and help me find some answers. I'm trying to power a stage rig off of a Car Power Amplifier. I have aquired some ATX power supplies, and have on loan a couple of small amps, no larger than 200w. I have consided powering up my normal stage rig with it, but my Guitar Cab's are 16 ohm. I need to know if anyone has done something similar, and also whether or not this would actually work under "battle conditions" onstage. I know little about car audio, but I do not believe it was designed to project clear tone over long distances like I need in a large bar. Any help you all could give would be wonderful.
