The speakers im planning to buy are: 1.) Front L & R - JBL NorthBridge E Series - E80, floor standers. worth $600 a pair. 2.) Center Channel - " " EC25, worth $199/piece. 3.) Sub - " " E150P (150 watts, 10 inch driver) 4.) Rear L & R - " " E20 worth $199 a pair. Im planning to buy an H/K 75 watts * 5 A/V reciever. I love all kinds of music, but dont like the sound to be too bright. Application would be 60 % music, 40 % movies. I have a few questions in my mind: 1.)Is the set going to be an overkill considering my room size? 2.)Are the floorstanders a good option? (i reallllly liked them when i heard them in the shop),would bookshelf speakers be better for my room? 3.) Is the JBL, H/K combination ok? Or would a Marantz or a Denon or a Yamaha sound better? 4.)How abt a Sub/Satellite combination for my room? 5.) Are there any speakers that are better suited to my choice and room size in the same cost range? (abt $1350 for the speakers). Thanking all replies in advance...
