I work with a guy who has the Def Tech 7000 and a Pioneer Elite vsx59txi and he really likes that combo. I would pair the Def Tech's with either a Elite, Marantz or H/K and whichever model fits your budget. You can get huge discounts off list on the Elite's at several online sites so don't let the list prices scare you. See dynaco.com and others for example. With the 7006 I would go with the Elite 56, Marantz 7500 or H/K 630.
