I am planning an install of a 10 speaker system for a large house. I was hoping some of the audio-saavy people on this site could help me with this. Basically I need some recommendations. What should I use for powering this? Would it be best to buy a few 2 or 4 channel amps and connect them all to the same source, or buy a higher priced amp that could do something this big all on its own? Thanks for any input.
What is your budget? Have you consulted a local audio video shop? These guys will be your best bet when it comes to planning a whole house system. They will have first hand knowledge of what can be done and what you want done.
