Thursday, November 04, 2004 - 15:00 GMT well, you want to feed those subs 1000-1500 watts each of clean continuous power if you really want them to move. Doing that is pretty much best done with a dedicated amp for each sub. the RE triple X comes standard as a dual 2 ohm coil model, but you can special order them in dual 4 ohm as well to get a 2 ohm load for each mono amp. in my case the dual 2s worked fine since each of my amps are bridged.

Thursday, November 04, 2004 - 19:16 GMT an MTX 1501D perhaps? if you went with one amp per sub, and opted for the dual 4 ohm coil models.. you'd feed the subs 1500 watts each the JBL bp1200.1 would do, too. in any event, be sure your charging system is up to the task for that much current draw.

Friday, November 05, 2004 - 22:32 GMT that amp would work, too. just match the amp's power @ load to the load of the sub(s) based on the coils, and how you'll wire them up.
