Are this high of an alternator common? Jeez, my stock alt is 105 and I ordered a 160 amp from http://www.mralternator.com they did have 200's but a bit to pricey. I am running two Hifonics amps, one Brutus 1500 watt (max) and one Nemisis 100x4 watts. Getting the alternator put in Monday and also installed an Optima Yellow Top battery. My old alternator died a few days ago (with the old battery too) so hope this fixes things. But from what I read in the article, do people really have alts that run over 200 amp? These are not very common from what I have seen. |
