Dish vs. Direct

I have reading all the reviews about dish and direct tv. My question is which one should I go with? My old roommate had a direct system with a access card that gave us all channels for free. Since there is no "hack" for direct yet is it better to go with dish and a "blackbird or bullet" reciever or to stick it out with direct and just wait.

Since I am new with all this please do not flame me. I really am looking for some sound advice.

There is no "yes or No" answer here.

Dish and Bev are hacked now,but Dish is getting smarter and going to do a card swap just like DTV did.Switching to Nagra 2 stream, within the year. or sooner.

FTA gets both Dish and Bev.Its fairly simple compared to hacking Dish. But it too will be affected when Dish changes cards and switchs to nagra 2.

DTV is NOT hacked publicly now,and maybe never will be.There are many RUMORS since before the HU stream was shut down in April. These rumors still flow.Maybe it will and maybe it won't ever be hacked, before DTV comes out with something new.The cardless DTV receiver is next,if another new "gold" card doesn't come out first.

So you must decide what to do.I think sharing a DTV sub is best, but no free PPV anymore. My 2nd choice would be FTA.

I have a FTA receiver with a Matrix reloaded Cam. My question is 1) "can I use a Dish rom 10 card"? 2) What other card can I use with the matrix reloaded to get Dish and Bev?
My receiver is Coship 5300B.
Thanks for the help!
