InFocus Makes 3-Chip Home Cinema Projection More Affordable for Video Enthusiasts

Wilsonville, Ore., September 6, 2005 –InFocus (Nasdaq: INFS), the worldwide leader in digital projection technology and services, today announced new pricing for the updated InFocus ScreenPlay 777. Now available for $14,999, the InFocus ScreenPlay 777 home cinema projector offers the best price performance of any 3-chip DLP projector.

With powerful three-chip performance, impressive image quality, and a sleek design, the InFocus ScreenPlay 777 is a great value for custom dealers and consumers who want the best in home cinema projection. The InFocus ScreenPlay 777 has received numerous awards and accolades, and was selected as the 2004-2005 European High-End Projector of the Year by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), the largest editorial multimedia organization in Europe.

Combined with a jaw-dropping 5000:1 contrast ratio and colors calibrated to D65 color standards, the InFocus ScreenPlay 777 delivers flawless home cinema performance. It is also the only projector in its class to support 1080p and InFocus’ unique 48 Hz film mode conversion.

Custom installers will find all the features they desire for smooth installations. The InFocus ScreenPlay 777 features motorized zoom, focus and vertical and horizontal lens shift, with seven optional lenses to accommodate all room sizes and configurations. It includes eight video inputs including: DVI with HDCP, two direct component inputs, two S-Video, RS232 for integrated control, input for an IR repeater and two screen triggers.
