Verizon Wireless announced the new Apple iPhone 4S will be available on Friday, October 14, 2011 starting at $199. Pre-ordering will commence on Friday, October 7th at 3:01 a.m. EDT at: www.verizonwireless.com/iPhone. Business customers must wait until 7am EDT on the same day to pre-order. Also, Verizon has halved the price on last year’s iPhone 4, which is now to $99 – $199. All models will be available in black or white.

Global service at Verizon Wireless includes 24 hour customer service from trained Verizon Wireless U.S.-based employees.

A new two-year customer agreement is required with voice plan beginning at $39.99 for 450 minutes and a data plan beginning at $30 for 2 GB monthly access with iPhone purchase.
