So you want the best deals on electronics? We've scoured Black Friday ads and picked the best deals.
Walmart: Walmart seems to have the best Black Friday deals we've seen from major electronics retailers. I'd suggest buying online if possible to avoid long lines. Here's what I've spotted:
- Magavox Blu-ray Player – $78
- Western Digital 1TB My Book Essential Portable USB 2.0 Hard Drive – $78
- Sanyo 50" 720p Plasma HDTV, DP50719 – $598
Best Buy: BestBuy's Doorbusters are good, but not great in my opinion. Here are some of their best deals. They also have some decent sales on flat panel TVs. I just didn't find them good enough to be listed here:
- Compaq – Mini Netbook with Intel Atom Processor (Model: 110c-1100DX | SKU: 9576951) – $179
- Logitech Harmony 510 Advanced Universal Remote – $39
- Insignia 10.0-Megapixel Digital Camera (Pink or Blue) – $49
Amazon.com: Amazon is posting new Black Friday deals just about every hour. Most of their best deals sell out within seconds. If you find something you like there, buy it quickly. Saving the item to your cart is not enough. You'll need to buy it before someone else does. Here's a quick look:
- TomTom XL 340 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator – $97
- Kodak Zi6 HD Pocket Video Camera – $99
- HP 16 GB SDHC Class 4 Flash Memory Card Q6305A-EF – $32.99
Onecall.com: Check out these online-only deals with free shipping from Onecall.com:
- Mitsubishi WD-65835 65-inch 1080p DLP Rear Projection HDTV – $1,299.77
- Sony PRS-300RC Pocket Edition Digital Reader (Rose) – $199
- KEF iQ7 Black Ash (Ea) 3-way Floorstanding Speaker – $293.77
Newegg.com: Newegg's deals won't be live until 3PM PST 11/25/09, so I couldn't post any links. Here's what they will offer:
- 7" Digital Photo Frame – $29.99
- HDMI Cable – 6 FEET – $1.99 after MIR
- 46" 1080P 120Hz LCD TV – $699.99
- 430W ATX 12V Power Supply – $16.99
- Motorola Unlocked Cell Phone – $19.99
- LG Blu-ray Disc Player – $99.99
- FREE AVG Internet Security (after MIR)
Apple's Store: Apple has not posted their deals yet, but historically they have discounted iPods and Macs about 5-10%. Rumor has it, 15% discounts might be available this year. Apple never discounts, so this is the best time to buy Apple products.
