Canon U.S.A., Inc. today introduced the monochrome imageRUNNER LBP3560 and LBP3470 desktop laser printers. Complementing Canon's existing color LBP lineup, the new imageRUNNER LBP3560 and LBP3470 printers leverage many of the R&D imaging advancements found in the Company's award-winning higher-end MFPs, in a smaller compact footprint.

Enhancing the new model's functionality, the imageRUNNER LBP3560 and LBP3470 printers can be seamlessly integrated into existing MFP fleets, enabling office administrators and fleet managers to monitor and track device and consumable usage through imageWARE Enterprise Management Console. For businesses seeking a compact desktop printer that extends the benefits of a managed print service engagement, the imageRUNNER LBP3560 has been designed to save valuable time and resources by fully integrating with imageWARE Remote, a management tool available to Canon Authorized Dealers to proactively and securely manage service and usage. End-users will also enjoy a simplified user experience as the new models feature similar print drivers, tools and menus as the higher-end MFPs, enabling a seamless transition from MFP to LBP.

In addition, both new models have fast warm-up times, first print times in under eight seconds* and standard support for UFR II, PCL5e/6 and PostScript 3 Emulation, giving users and workgroups the added flexibility to choose how to produce their documents.

Beyond its powerful engine, the imageRUNNER LBP3560 and LBP3470 are equipped to handle the workloads of busy office environments with maximum paper capacities of up to 1,600 sheets and 800 sheets, respectively, and Canon's all-in-one toner and drum cartridge makes for quick and easy replacement.
